I’m Fiona, a passionate travel blogger based in the Southwest of England with my husband and two young kids.

I started CatchingSunsets.com as a way to share my travel experiences with others.
Whether it’s a family getaway, a weekend escape, or a big adventure, I wanted a platform to document the memories and help fellow travellers make the most of their journeys too.
Some of my favourite destinations we have visited include Las Vegas, Paris, and Corfu. I’m also a big Disney fan, having visited three Disney Parks: Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland California.
I love exploring cities across the U.K. – Bristol is probably my top choice, but places like York and Edinburgh are high on my travel bucket list.
I also enjoy peaceful countryside getaways for a more relaxing escape.
Since becoming a Mum, our holidays have shifted a bit, so you’ll find plenty of posts on family-friendly destinations like Butlins, Center Parcs, and Haven.
We’re always looking for fun weekend adventures and school holiday activities, so I often write about our family days out.
We certainly like to make the most of our National Trust Pass!
I’ve learned so much over the years, and I love sharing travel tips on everything from packing efficiently for a family holiday to finding the best deals on flights. You’ll find plenty of useful resources to make your travels easier and more enjoyable.
Our travel plans for 2025 include a stay at Legoland and another family break to Center Parcs as well as lots of day trips to local attractions.
