How To Save Money On Longleat Tickets

Updated April 2026

We recently visited Longleat for the first time in a couple of years and were astonished to find that even after booking ahead, ticket prices had increased by £15 per adult!

So, I decided to take a look at some of the ways you can save money on Longleat tickets if you’re planning a trip to the Safari and animal park in the coming months.

What Is The Price Of Longleat Tickets?

These are the current standard price of Longleat tickets when booked online or purchased at the gates.

The Longleat website advises booking tickets in advance to avoid any disappointment on the day as it can reach full capacity, especially during the summer months and during special events such as the winter light spectacular.

Adults (16 yrs+): From £39.95 – £44.95

Children (3-15 yrs): From £29.95 – £33.70

Infants (0-2 yrs): Free

Carer: Free (valid with appropriate identification, such as an Access Card).

Note: Longleat used both seasonal and dynamic pricing, so these prices are intended as a guide only and are subject to change.

What Does My Longleat Ticket Include?

The price of your Longleat ticket includes the drive through Safari and access to the main park where you’ll find lots of exciting things to do including the hedge maze, children’s adventure zone, Rockin’ Rhino ride, animal adventure zones, boat rides to see the Sealions and Gorillas and the Longleat Railway.

Ticket prices do not include a guided tour of Longleat House (this is an additional £4 per person or £3 for children) however, you can do a self guided tour without any additional cost.

The Longleat Safari bus is an additional £10.95 per person for those who do not wish to take their own vehicles through the Safari.

There is also an additional charge of £1 for fish if you would like to feed the Sealions.

Longleat is a cashless site and so all transactions must be made via card payment.

Can I Get A Refund On A Prebooked Longleat Ticket?

Longleat does not give refunds on pre-booked tickets but you can move your tickets to another date later in the year. This costs £5 per person and can only be done three times.

When pre-booking Longleat Tickets you will be offered insurance for £5 (to cover your whole booking) and this would allow you to claim a refund if you were later unable to use the tickets.

We actually did this for a recent trip as one of our party has some medical issues and it did give us peace of mind should we not be able to go for whatever reason.

How To Save Money On Longleat Tickets

Here’s the bit you’ve been waiting for! How to save money on Longleat tickets.

Save Money On Longleat Tickets By Investing In An Annual Pass

One of the best ways to save on Longleat tickets is to invest in an annual pass. These cost around £145 for an adult and £108 for children.

You can also buy a ‘Seasonal Annual Pass’ which allows access for a slightly shorter period and does not give access to the festival of light. These cost £94.95 for adults and £71.20 for children.

If you are able to visit Longleat more than three times over the course of a year, you’ll be saving money. This is perfect for those that live locally or visit the local area often.

Longleat annual passes also entitle you to 20% off VIP experiences and 10% off in shops and food outlets around the site.

Annual pass holders are advised to book tickets in advance during peak times and on certain dates – there is a nominal fee for this of £1 which is donated to charity.

Longleat Discounts For Blue Peter Badge Holders

Does your child have Blue Peter Badge and Card? If they do, they are entitled to one free Longleat ticket with a full-paying adult.

The Longleat Blue Peter badge discount cannot be booked in advance, is not valid during the winter season and cannot be combined with any other discount.

As Longleat themselves advise booking ahead to avoid disappointment, personally I’m not sure I’d want to risk arriving without pre-booked tickets only to be turned away.

Turn Tesco Vouchers Into Cheap Longleat Tickets

The great thing about Tesco Club Vouchers is that when you spend them at Longleat you can get up to three times their value (although this will be changing to two times their value from June 14th 2023).

Simply create a voucher on the Tesco website and then use it towards the cost of your Longleat tickets. You can pay the difference so there’s no need to have the full amount in vouchers to take advantage of this offer.

Save On Longleat Tickets With A Two-Day Pass

Longleat now offer a discounted ticket if you’d like to visit for two consecutive days and it can save you around 30% compared to buying two separate day tickets..

This type of ticket is perfect if you’re staying in the local area and want to make the most of everything that Longleat has to offer.

Two Day – Child (3-15yrs) from £40.95 to £44.70

Seasonal Discount Codes

Longleat occasionally offers seasonal discount codes – such as MUM for a free ticket on Mother’s day only.

While this can offer a good saving, it does mean the rest of the family pays full price and you may find other savings, such as a Blue Light Discount offer a bigger saving overall.

You may also want to consider that Mother’s Day is popular day to visit (in part, thanks to the offer mentioned above) and so the park is likely to be very busy.

Longleat Local Discount Tickets

Did you know that Longleat offer discounts to those living locally within certain postcodes?

Adults can save approximately £15 on the cost of an annual pass and children can save £11.25. You also get the benefits of discounted food

When purchasing your annual passes as a local resident you’ll need both ID and proof of address to claim the discount.

How To Save Money On Longleat Tickets – Final Hints & Tips

Here are some final hints and tips for saving money on Longleat tickets.

Staying at Center Parcs Longleat? You *may* be able to get discounted tickets

If you’re staying Center Parcs Longleat you *may* be able to get a discount when booking tickets to Longleat.

This wasn’t something I was able to confirm – in the past the discount has been around 20% but from what I can see it’s now only £5 off per ticket and the days you can choose are quite limited. Other times this isn’t available at all.

If you have a Blue Light Card, for example, this would likely provide a much better discount.

Always Check For Special Events

When booking tickets for Longleat you want to check whether there are any special events running and whether these are included in the cost of your ticket or are something you’ll need to pay extra for.

Double Check Opening Times For Your Visit

Opening times at Longleat change throughout the year. The summer months tend to be busier, but there’s also a better chance of the animals being out and about and not hiding away due to inclement weather.

My ideal time to visit Longleat is midweek, during the summer but before the school holidays. We try to make the most of this by using a school inset day for our visits.

Be Wary of Voucher Websites Offering Discounts

When searching online for Longleat discounts, you may find sites promoting codes that don’t always work and are often designed to drive traffic rather than offer real savings.

While Longleat does occasionally release genuine promotional codes (such as for Mother’s Day), these are not common.

Take Your Own Food

There are loads of picnic areas around Longleat so taking your own lunch is definitely a great money-saving option.

Not only is food expensive, but you can also end up queuing for a long time which then takes away from time exploring the park.

Are you heading to Longleat soon? I really hope this post helps you save money on Longleat tickets!
